🏒 Saints 15U A: A Season Defined by Grit
Today, the buzzer sounded on an incredible season for our Saints 15U A squad. In a game that was every bit the battle we expected, the Saints fell 3-2 in a heartbreaker against Rogers/Blaine.
While it wasn't the final score we hoped for, it doesn't take an ounce of shine off what this team accomplished this weekend—and all year long.
🏆 The East Region Run
Coming into the weekend, the mission was "The Drive to State," and our girls played with a level of heart that made every Saints fan proud.
Friday Night Lights: We started the tournament with a grueling OT battle against Eagan/IGH/SSP, coming up just "inches away" in a game that could have gone either way.
The Saturday Surge: Instead of letting Friday's sting linger, the Saints exploded on Saturday morning with a dominant 6-3 win over North Wright County.
The Evening Thriller: Just hours later, the squad dug deep for an overtime classic against Wayzata Blue, tucking the game-winner to keep the dream alive and punch their ticket to the 3rd Place game.
⛪️ More Than Just a Game
Today’s 3rd Place matchup epitomized this team’s character. Trailing by a hair until at the very end, the Saints never stopped pressing. That "Heart and Hustle" we saw all tournament wasn't just a slogan, it was on full display until the final whistle.
To the players: You didn’t just play hockey this year; you showed the hockey community exactly what Saints Hockey is about. You leave this season with your heads held high.
To the coaches, parents, and fans: Thank you for bringing the energy to M Health Sports Center and supporting these athletes every step of the way.
Final Score: Saints 2, Rogers/Blaine 3
Season Status: Proudly Concluded.
