The Saints are excited to announce two great summer development opportunities for 8U, 10U, and 12U levels. Whether you are looking for a dedicated skills camp or flexible "pay-as-you-go" sessions, we have options to keep your player on the ice this offseason.

Option 1: Sawchuk Skills Camp (10U & 12U)

This exclusive 8-session camp is dedicated to skating, puck control, and passing. Sessions are led by Nolan and Avery Sawchuk with assistance from parent volunteers to ensure high-efficiency drills.

  • Eligibility: Players entering 10U or 12U for the 2026-27 season
  • Location: West Saint Paul Ice Arena
  • Dates: Sunday nights. Confirmed dates: June 14, 21, 28 and August 12, 19 (3 more TBD)
  • Times:
  • 10U: 4:45 PM – 5:45 PM
  • 12U: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
  • Cost: Estimated at $120 for all 8 sessions; Goalies are free (limited spots available)

Option 2: Saint Paul Skills with Dan Esrig (8U & 10U)

These sessions focus on the fundamentals: edge work, skating strength, passing, and shooting technique. Players are grouped by skill level to ensure everyone is appropriately challenged.

  • Eligibility: Players ages 6–10 who have completed Mini Mites
  • Location: Highland Arena - North Rink
  • Time: 6:10 PM – 7:10 PM
  • Cost: $30 per session (pay-as-you-go) or purchase a discounted bundle.
  • Registration: Sessions are posted and available for sign-up on the Saint Paul Skills website.

Did you know that Minnesota produces 21% of all Division I women’s hockey players? And Minnesotans make up 33% of Americans playing Division I women’s hockey. Overall, Minnesota has more girl's and women's hockey players than any other state...by far.
