Travel Mites Program:
The travel Mite program is designed for the player that wants to play more games and be competitive. The emphasis is on skill development practicing twice a week and playing one game a week. There will be no overnights or Sunday practices or games unless the team is involved in a tournament. Eighteen to twenty games will be played during the season with 50% at home and 50% within 1 1/2 hours from home ice.

At the first half of the season each player should be able to perform all of the Mite skills listed.

At the end of the season each player should be able to:
A. Display an increased emphasis on passing (forehand & backhand) and use of team play to move the puck from zone to zone.
B. Demonstrate basic positioning in the defensive and offensive zones.
C. Perform basic breakout positioning and pattern.
D. Understand basic hockey infractions & penalty times.
E. Begin to perform basic goaltending skills (where interested).

Parent Involvement!
We request parent involvement during the hockey season and at fund raisers.
We do not require mandatory hours.
Our association is a fully volunteer family that keeps the rink and concession stand functioning.
Please let us know what area you would like to be involved in: any skills you have, its fun to be involved, share your talents, and support your children in this way.
